Meeting Notes for December 1, 2009
Treasurer’s Report:
· Checks for the amount of $220.00 were written for referee fees.
· The current balances are $26,227.81
· No changes on CD rates or balances.
· A $6,000.00 discrepancy in Clubs favor was found. Researching issue and should have a resolution soon.
· Club ordered debit cards for the checking account and they are in Mr. Moore’s possession at this time.
· $274.79 was paid to Mr. Pandiani for the yellow club signs that were ordered and placed around town.
· $3057.00 was deposited to the checking account from the concession stand and registration event.
· Will have a final club balance at next meeting.
President’s Report:
· Club will now have its own training manual and a curriculum for the winter training sessions. Mr Moore will only be printing out what is needed for each age group.
· It was established that an evaluation of each player will be done at the winter sessions.
· Incentives on the web page for people who want to write grants for the club? Possibly that parents child gets to play for free? This was tabled until it could be discussed further.
· The grant for Uniforms needs to be submitted by the end of December.
· Mr. Eldridge volunteered to write a grant for the club and suggested that we start a grant writing committee.
· Incentives for grant writing starting in the fall season.
Boy’s Director Report:
· Not in attendance, nothing to report.
Girl’s Director Report:
· Nothing to report.
· Would like to start scheduling Falcon Field usage now for the Spring season.
Registrar’s Report:
· Nothing to report.
District Representative’s Report:
· Fines have been paid in the amount of $75.00.
Referee Coordinator Report:
· New referee clinics will begin after the first of the year.
Website:
· Nothing to report.
Equipment Director’s Report:
· Sprinkler system is leaking.
· No correspondence from Eagle Leasing about the leak in the trailer.
Fundraising Director’s Report:
· Will be sending back books for final bill.
· Boxes of candy will be purchased for the registration drive in January .
· Dick’s Registration drive was a flop. The club only registered about 20 players,
· The MSC banner will be placed downtown by the Y.
· January 22, 2010 will be the final registration drive for the Spring season.
